Life Cycle Cost
The future EuroSpec on Life Cycle Cost will contain a template, which conforms to EU public procurement law and the requirements applicable in Switzerland. This EuroSpec should serve as a contract basis in contract award procedures for vehicle procurements. Additionally, a uniform verification, regardless of the vehicle keeper / rail operator and vehicle supplier, should be initiated with this document. The specification will consist of two parts: 1. Methodical part and 2. Content / business management part, which describes a modular, individual composition of all necessary (cost-driving) elements or rather of the classical vehicle operating costs.
