The EuroSpec initiative is composed of six European organisations with wide knowledge on writing specifications for the procurement of rolling stock based on operations and tender experiences, i.e. Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS), Deutsche Bahn (DB), SNCF Voyageurs (SNCF), Österreichische Bundesbahnen (ÖBB), Schweizerische Bundesbahnen (SBB) and the Railway Delivery Group (RDG). It started in 2011.
