CSS-On-Board TTLS Pre Draft for Consultation

CCS On-board  

A voluntary specification for “CCS On-board” for use by companies in the rail sector will be developed.

Draft and pre-draft versions are available for exchange and to receive feedback at an early stage.

Available specifications for new train procurement are:

• CCS On-board Pre-draft -odometry (available May 2026)
• CCS On-board Pre-draft -Train Time and Location Service,  TTLS (available May 2026)
• CCS On-Board V1 Draft  - ETCS On-Board and Railway Mobile Radio (available February 2026)
